DBN first wrote about the store in September 2007, when it was a coming attraction for Bellevue Square’s first floor between Build-A-Bear and Hollister and only the second Aritzia in the United States. The move that defines the current store came in November 2016: Aritzia took over Eddie Bauer’s previous first-floor location across from Sweet Factory for a larger boutique, Eddie Bauer shifted across the hall, and in January 2017 the original space reopened as an Aritzia Pop-Up for sale merchandise. When Eddie Bauer closed at Bellevue Square in June 2025, DBN’s coverage recalled that 2016 swap as the moment Aritzia expanded its footprint.
