Zara Bellevue Square is the Spanish fast-fashion chain’s Eastside store, on Level 2 of Bellevue Square at the south end of the mall — the wing built out of the old JCPenney in 2015, with Barnes & Noble directly below and Mango and Victoria’s Secret alongside. As of September 2026 zara.com lists Woman, Man and Kids departments here, and the Bellevue Collection describes it the same way: women’s, men’s and children’s apparel on one level. It is the store for the runway-adjacent blazer, the dress for Saturday’s wedding, or the back-to-school run that covers three kids in one lap.
Few Bellevue stores were wanted this publicly for this long. DBN put Zara on its wish lists starting in 2009 and backed a local blogger’s petition to bring the brand here; the announcement finally came in May 2015 — a 26,000-square-foot, one-level store for women, men and children in the former J.C. Penney space, with Kemper Freeman calling Bellevue Square “a perfect match with the Zara customer.” It opened on November 11, 2015, a week after Uniqlo, as the anchor of the South Common expansion, and has since become the landmark other tenants are described by: Mango “next to Zara,” Barnes & Noble “directly below Zara.”

Kids
Zara Kids is carried at Bellevue Square per zara.com: baby through pre-teen, on the same floor as the adult departments, which makes it the mall’s easiest one-stop back-to-school run.
Where it sits on price: Mid-market. Zara is the affordable end of the Bellevue Square fashion spectrum — runway-inspired pieces priced well below the designer wing and a step above the basics next door at Uniqlo — and the trade-off is turnover: sizes and styles move fast, so if it fits, buy it.

- Drive: Bellevue Square parking is complimentary for guests, with more than 6,000 covered spaces across the Collection’s garages; the largest garage is reached from the NE 4th Street exit off I-405, heading west toward 100th Ave NE. The south-end garages are closest to the Zara wing. EV charging ports are in the West Garage near sky bridge 2 and in the Northeast Garage near Nordstrom.

- On foot: Enter Bellevue Square at the south end from Bellevue Way or NE 4th, go up one level and the store fills the end of the second-floor corridor; from the first floor, Barnes & Noble sits right below it.
Best Times to Go
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the calm window, with full racks and no fitting-room line. Weekends run at full Bellevue Square volume, and the store is busiest around back-to-school, the November sale season and the run-up to the holidays; new-drop days bring the regulars.

The south end of Bellevue Square makes it a day: try Din Tai Fung for the soup-dumpling lunch after the fitting room, Paris Baguette for a pastry between stores, or Tavern Hall on the Bellevue Way side when the day runs into dinner.
