The project is called Soma Towers, and according to plans will be located on the NE corner of NE 2nd Street & 106th Ave NE. The 1st tower is planned to break ground in spring of 2011 and construction would begin by 2013. The 2 towers would total 266 apartments and allow for a 3-story podium with a retail shopping area, as well as 4 levels of underground parking. The report states that the apartments would range in size from 400 – 1,200 square feet.

The property was originally purposed as a 250-unit apartment building by another developer, Legacy Partners. This project fell through as the economy took a beating on many developers in the area.
