Broadstone Savoie is the seven-story apartment building at 35 112th Ave NE, on the corner of downtown Bellevue where 112th Avenue meets Main Street — the gateway block between Old Main and the East Main light-rail station, which the building’s own site notes is across the street. Alliance Residential built it on the old Lexus of Bellevue site and opened it in summer 2024 with 190 homes, from studios and one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms and townhomes, and Greystar manages it. The shared floors carry a coworking space with private pods, a fitness center with Pelotons, a Tonal yoga room, a resident lounge with an entertainment kitchen and a rooftop patio with grills, a fireplace and Mount Rainier views.

DBN first wrote about the block in January 2020, when a plan called Broadstone Bellevue Gateway proposed a 22-story senior independent-living tower and two seven-story apartment buildings at 11100 Main Street, replacing a Windermere office that had once been Lexus of Bellevue. The Encore Architects design cleared design review in March 2021 with 190 apartments, a public plaza and a through-block walkway over two levels of underground parking, and by June 2022 it was on DBN’s list of downtown projects under construction. Leasing opened in spring 2024 under the Broadstone Savoie name, and that July The Watermark at Bellevue and Alliance opened both buildings together — what DBN called Bellevue’s first intergenerational residential community, with apartments for renters of any age beside senior independent living, assisted living and memory care. DBN counted it among the notable downtown completions of 2024.

It suits a 2 Line commuter who wants a brand-new building on the quieter southeast edge of downtown, a short walk from Old Main’s restaurants. See how it compares in our guide to every downtown Bellevue apartment building.

“The newest rental building downtown, and the only one that shares its plaza with a senior-living tower.” — DBN Editors

Getting Around & Living Here

Main Street and 112th is where downtown meets the light-rail line; the notes below are for prospective renters and visitors.

Getting There & Parking

  • Drive: Residents park underground, where the building’s site lists reserved, electric-vehicle and bike parking; the 2021 design review DBN covered put 209 stalls under the whole block, shared with The Watermark. No guest-parking policy is published; the site also advertises direct access to I-405.
  • Light rail: 2 Line to Bellevue Downtown Station, then one more stop south to East Main Station, which the building’s site places across the street — see our light rail guide
  • On foot: Old Main’s restaurant row is west along Main Street, the Seattle Marriott Bellevue two blocks northwest at NE 2nd and 110th, and the Downtown Park lawn a longer walk west; Bellevue Downtown Station and City Hall are north up 110th or 112th.

What It’s Like

The corner sits on 112th Ave NE, a busy arterial feeding I-405, with East Main light-rail station across the street, so the character is transit-and-traffic edge rather than shopping core; the building’s own pitch pairs Mount Rainier views from select homes and the roof with “the serenity of a quiet neighborhood” a walk from high-end shopping. The plaza it shares with The Watermark gives the block an unusual mix of neighbors, and DBN reported the campus was laid out to encourage friendships across generations. It suits a renter who commutes on the 2 Line or I-405, wants current-generation finishes and work-from-home space, and would rather be a walk from Main Street than on NE 8th.

What’s Nearby

The nearest DBN-profiled stops: Voodoo Doughnut a few blocks west on Main Street, Seattle Marriott Bellevue for visiting family, at NE 2nd and 110th, or Hilton Bellevue south past East Main Station on 112th Ave SE.

Good to Know

Affordable homes: Broadstone Savoie is an ARCH Affordable Housing partner with the City of Bellevue and holds a limited number of rent-restricted homes for moderate-income households, in studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts; eligibility is income-certified each year, and the leasing team takes applications. The building also states that Section 8 and other subsidy programs are welcome. Pets: it describes itself as pet-friendly and has a dog wash; ask the office about limits. The Watermark at Bellevue next door is a separate senior-living community with its own leasing, and furnished apartments are offered at Savoie.
