Laughter, surprises, and visual delight make the International Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker Ballet a show that all will enjoy. Presented at Meydenbauer Theatre in Downtown Bellevue, this classical ren
dition of Tchaikovsky and Petipa’s original Nutcracker ballet is a great event to attend this holiday week.
IBT is supported by many local companies as an affiliate of the International School of Classical Ballet. Its Nutcracker Ballet sets and costumes are from Ukraine, and its principal ballet dancers are from Russia. The choreography, lead by Russian-born, Artistic Director Vera Altunina, is graceful and highlights the talents of local ballet dancers from our Eastside community. IBT is located in Kirkland, WA and offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, character for all ages.
