Blakes Place Rendering Bellevue

Last autumn Bake’s Place announced its plan to move from Issaquah to downtown Bellevue. Now the jazz supper club is preparing to open in March, at the corner of 108th Avenue NE and NE 2nd Street.

The downtown venue will include a main stage, plenty of floor and mezzanine seating, a full-service bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large patio for outdoor dining and special events.

Bake’s Place will host dinner shows 6 nights each week featuring a variety of musical genres, such as R&B, Latin, Big Band, singer-songwriter, jazz, and blues.

The owners recently announced that Christopher Peterson will join the team as the executive chef and as a business partner. Peterson’s resume includes Café Campagne and Bis on Main, as well as director of culinary operations for Milagro Cantina.

  1. Seems to look a lot like Lot No 3

  2. Is this in Civica? I can’t think of another location at that corner:/

  3. Wow interior looks great.

Kind of a weird location though… where can the patio seating and floor-ceiling window look out to? That road junction is pretty un-built.

  4. Not Civica. According to their announcement, they are moving to Columbia West building, across the street from Civica. That all glass building on the other side of NE 2nd.

  5. Hope this isnt another disaster like Munch Bars Piano Bash that never actually opened but still sits there. I think this will be great for Bellevue, we need more things then just resturants to do at night.
