An investment company with ties to China recently paid $45.9 million to Beacon Capital Partners for a 3-acre development site in downtown Bellevue, according to the PSBJ.

The property is located at 10833 NE Eighth St.

The company, Plus Investment USA, now owns more than half the block on the south side of Northeast Eighth Street, between 108th and 110th avenues northeast. It had purchased the adjacent Bellevue First Congregational Church property about a year ago for $30 million.

Last July the PSBJ reported that Plus Investment USA planned to build two 43-story residential towers on the former church property.

The company may now be planning a mixed-use development on the two sites, according to the PSBJ.
