According to a report on Geekwire, a Seattle based technology publication, Amazon is leasing 354,000 square feet at Schnitzer West’s 425 Centre in downtown Bellevue. The report in Geekwire is based on multiple anonymous commercial real estate sources that didn’t want to go on record.
Apple was previously rumored to have interest in 425 Centre. If this report holds true Apple will have to look elsewhere if they plan to occupy space in downtown Bellevue.
The building is anticipated to have several of amenities including a great room, a rooftop conference room and patio, a fitness center, locker rooms, bike storage, and a coffee shop.
According to the Centre 425 website, the building will be completed in 2016.
