Project FutureCare is Overlake Medical Center’s five-year campus renewal project that will cost $250 million. A new addition to the hospital, a 240,000 square foot tower, will be built to offer larger single-patient rooms that combine the space for family zones and state-of-the-art technology. The new tower will enhance wayfinding and patient experience.

The project includes three construction phases, with the last phase being completed in 2023. The design of the new tower will feature park-like landscaping, natural light and pedestrian-friendly pathways from the Sound Transit Wilburton Station.

Project FutureCare will offer a new, five-story inpatient tower featuring a new childbirth center, increased bed capacity in medical surgery, oncology, telemetry and orthopedics, two new operating room suites, an expanded behavioral health unit and more.
