Hai Di Lao, an international hot pot restaurant chain, is coming to Bellevue, according to a recently filed city permit. Based out of China since 1994, this will be the third restaurant to open  in the United States.

The new location is planned to be at Bellevue Pacific Center, 188 106th Avenue Northeast.

The restaurant features traditional Sichuan-style hot pot dining with a modern twist. Featured offerings include broths that are made from scratch, handmade noodles, a station with dipping sauces, extra ingredients like vegetables, and proteins like seafood, lamb, beef and chicken. Each dish is served with interactive table side service, as the chain is known for their customer service and popular “noodle dance”.

Hai Di Lao is also opening in Seattle on the third floor of Pacific Place in the fall of 2019. The hot pot chain has many locations in the mainland of China, as well as Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Malaysia. Their first restaurant in the United States opened in California in 2013.

  1. Could you use a picture of Chinese hotpot instead of Korean BBQ?

  2. @YZ. The photo credit says it’s from Hai Di Lao. So maybe they are trying to offer something new at this location? Lol
