Bellevue Square and Neighboring Retail Shops to Close Due to COVID-19

According to a retail employee that works within The Bellevue Collection, Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square North, Lincoln Square South and Bellevue Place, will be closing as of the 17th at 6 p.m. for the next two weeks. An email from Kemper Retail Management was sent out to managers at the mall on the 16th.

The current plan is to re-open on April 2nd. The Bellevue Collection will closely monitor the ongoing situation and follow recommended guidelines to determine if they will in fact re-open on this date.

The Bellevue Collection had previously announced last week that they would be modifying hours at Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square North, Lincoln Square South and Bellevue Place.

Governor Inslee signed a statewide emergency proclamation earlier this week to temporarily shut down restaurants, bars, and entertainment and recreational facilities. It was noted that restaurants are allowed to provide take-out and delivery service. The ban does not apply to grocery stores and pharmacies.

All gatherings with over 50 participants are prohibited and all gatherings under 50 participants are prohibited unless criteria for public health and social distancing are met.
