The national seafood restaurant, Water Grill, is coming to Downtown Bellevue. According to a source, the restaurant will be taking over the location that was previously McCormick & Schmick’s. A representative for the seafood eatery confirmed that they will be coming to Bellevue.

The menu is updated daily. They offer up to 18 varieties of Eastern and Pacific oysters every day. Popular menu items include sautéed Penn Cove Mussels, Wild Dungeness Crab from Washington, Sea Urchin from the Channel Islands, Wild Alaskan King Crab, Wild Pacific Salmon, and Pacific Black Cod.

The restaurant originated in Los Angeles. There are currently five locations, located in California and Las Vegas. This will be the first location in Washington State. They are also planning to open a restaurant in Denver.

Water Grill is owned by King’s Seafood Company. The company has over 70 years of experience in the business. Their headquarters are in Costa Mesa.

McCormick & Schmick’s permanently closed at Lincoln Square in Bellevue in July 2020. The restaurant chain had occupied the space for 15 years.
