A design review approval has been submitted to the City of Bellevue for a hotel located on 106th Avenue Northeast. The project name is Washington Square Extended Stay Hotel, located at the Northwest corner of 106th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 9th Place.
The 8-story hotel will feature 225 guest rooms, located on 40,888 square feet. There will one level of below-grade parking, lobby public space at street level, as well as a bar, eating area, loading dock, and back-of-house areas. The second floor is planned to include guest rooms, meeting space, pool, and fitness room. Floors 3 through 8 include guest rooms. The roof is unoccupied.
The proposed building is 170,649 gross square feet. The proposed structured parking is 20,945 gross square feet.
The architecture for the project is Johnson Braund. They also designed Marriot Bellevue on 110th Avenue Northeast.
The developer is West77 Partners. The property is near West77 Partners’ other hotel project, Hilton Garden Inn.
Last year, the timeline and Washington Square master plan was reconfigured, including an office tower and the hotel. The original plan was slated to begin construction in the winter of 2020/2021.
