Onni Group released renderings and plans for its project in Downtown Bellevue on 106th Avenue Northeast in 2019. The development site is located where Barnes & Noble and Doxa Church were both previously located.

Canadian developer, Onni, bought the 4 acre development site from Sterling Realty Organization in 2019. The property was acquired for $116 million. Documents were submitted that same year with plans for the site.

Recent activity would suggest that construction will begin soon for the three 600-foot towers. Barnes & Noble announced in May 2022 that they would be leaving their current location and moving to Crossroads Mall after having been in Downtown Bellevue for 29 years. According to a representative for the company, they will be moving in the fall, and the new location will open one day after the 106th Ave NE location closes.

The tenant for Doxa Church moved to Redmond in April 2022 after renting the building in downtown for 7 years.

The Onni Group is planning a three-tower mixed-use project with each tower’s height at 600-feet tall. There will be two buildings that are residential with a hotel component, and the other as commercial office space.

The project will be 179,914 square feet in total, with 1,289 residences, 317 hotel suites, and 896,000 square feet of office space. According to city records, amenities will include two swimming pools, a daycare, and guest suites. A food court is planned in association with the office tower.
