Ted Baker is closing in Bellevue Square. It is located on the first level next to Ben Bridge Jewelers.

The British luxury retailer for men’s and women’s clothing and accessories first opened at Bellevue Square in 2016. According to their website, the company is having a storewide sale, with all purchases final. Sales are currently discounted from 20% to 40% off.

The company is closing all of its stores in North America after filing for bankruptcy in April 2024. This is believed to be due to a confluence of internal issues and market conditions that led to its collapse, as reported by Big Issue, one of UK’s leading street newspapers. Ted Baker currently has 31 stores in the United States and nine in Canada that will be closing.

The website is also shutting down. Customers are now unable to make online purchases.

Popular activewear Brand, Vuori, will be opening at this location in Bellevue Square. It is the first Vuori store to open on the Eastside. The retailer currently has a location at University Village in Seattle.

  1. There are a couple of unmentioned reasons here as well. The Mall is one of the very most expensive places to rent space, they force you to be open at hours when no one shops, and doing tenant improvements is supervised and almost always overly exoensive
