The eagerly awaited luxury hotel has officially opened in the heart of Bellevue. InterContinental Bellevue at The Avenue marks the brand’s first domestic launch since 2017 and is the premier InterContinental Hotel to debut in the Pacific Northwest.

Located at the intersection of Northeast 8th Street and Bellevue Way, the hotel offers 208 rooms with prices ranging from the $500s to $7,200 per night. The guest rooms and suites boast expansive windows, bespoke headboards, and furnishings crafted from Italian vegan leather.

InterContinental Bellevue has 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space across 9 rooms. It features a grand ballroom of 4,250 square feet and a 2,400 square foot junior ballroom.

The property currently features Jo Malone, renowned for its iconic perfumes, and Fleur Studio, offering luxury floral experiences. Also available are Ce La Vie, the hotel’s upscale lobby bar and lounge, and Fresco, serving contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine for breakfast.

InterContinental Bellevue will feature Michelin-star dining by Joshua Skenes, alongside a Spanish tapas restaurant, Teleferic Barcelona, an enhanced Clefs d’Or concierge program, and 24/7 room service. In the future, additional amenities will be offered, including a dedicated butler-serviced floor, a bespoke Rolls-Royce house car service, and access to an ultra-luxury yacht.

Originally slated for an October 2023 debut, the opening of InterContinental Hotel was pushed back to January 2024. Subsequently, it was delayed further to April 15, 2024, then rescheduled to June 15th, with the final opening date set for July 18, 2024.

Avenue Bellevue is a two-tower mixed-use development that includes a hotel, retail spaces, and residences. It offers 141 Estate Homes in the South Tower and 224 residences in the West Tower. The complex reflects the vision of Fortress Development CEO Andy Lakha, who remarked, “Bellevue has evolved into a dynamic center for innovation, and deserves a hotel and residential development that mirrors its bright future.”

Avenue was designed in partnership by Seattle-based, award-winning architecture firms Weber Thompson and CollinsWoerman, as well as Hirsch Bedner Associates, the largest hospitality firm in the world.
