SuperKim Crab House

SuperKim Crab House, a seafood restaurant recognized for its acclaimed clam chowder and seafood boils, is preparing to open a new location at Bellevue Towers, according to permits filed with the City of Bellevue. This new restaurant will be situated at 460 106th Avenue Northeast, at the base of the condo towers. The space was previously designated for SEA Crab House.

Currently, SuperKim Crab House operates one other location in Seattle, making this the first establishment on the Eastside. The restaurant’s menu includes a range of seafood dishes infused with Thai-inspired flavors. Notable menu items include Dungeness crab rolls, steamed clams, award-winning Clam Chowder, Gumbolaya, creamy cajun wings, build-your-own Asian-Cajun fusion seafood boil, lobster mama, and Mekong Medley.

A representative from SuperKim Crab House stated that there is no set opening date yet, as the restaurant is still finalizing its plans.

The Bellevue Towers location was previously occupied by Lot No. 3, which closed in 2020, along with Purple Cafe and Cast Iron Studios. Heavy Restaurant Group CEO Larry Kurofsky announced the closure of these three Downtown Bellevue restaurants in 2020. Lot No. 3 had been in operation since May 2010.

SuperKim Crab House began as a food cart in Portland in 2016, initially focusing on authentic Thai street food. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to the establishment of SuperKim Crab House as a full-fledged restaurant. The new Bellevue location will continue to reflect the founder’s Thai heritage and innovative approach to seafood cuisine.
