Gingerbread Workshops in Bellevue Return Nov 29 & 30

Gingerbread Workshops Bellevue

The much-anticipated Gingerbread Workshops, presented by KidsQuest Children’s Museum, are returning this November, celebrating 19 years of festive fun. Held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, these workshops provide a memorable holiday experience for all ages. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

The workshops kick off with the Ballerina Gingerbread Workshops on Friday, November 29, featuring two sessions from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Attendees will enjoy an atmosphere with hundreds of gingerbread houses, a candy buffet, and performances by ballerinas from the Bennyroyce Dance Company.

The cost for this session is $50 for one individual (ages 1 and up) and one gingerbread house. Additional individual tickets are priced at $20 each, while infants aged 1 and under can join for free. For a more exclusive experience, the VIP Table option is available at $450, including four gingerbread houses, four candy cases, and accommodations for up to ten people.

Later on the same day, the Gingerbread After Dark event caters to an adult audience aged 21 and over, from 5-7 p.m. Attendees will be greeted with a glass of champagne and have access to a private candy buffet in a special seating area. The cost for this event is $60 for one individual, which includes a gingerbread house and a glass of champagne, with a $20 option available for just the champagne.

The Classic Gingerbread Workshops take place on Saturday, November 30, with sessions running from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. This event offers all the materials needed to create and decorate a gingerbread house, with cleanup handled by the event staff. The price for this session is $40 for one individual (ages 1 and up) and one gingerbread house. Additional individual tickets are available for $12, and infants (ages 1 and under) can join for free. A VIP Table option is also available at $350, which includes four gingerbread houses, four candy cases, and seating for up to ten people.

For those who prefer to enjoy the gingerbread fun from home, Gingerbread Pick-Up is available on Friday from 1-3 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 p.m. This option allows participants to pick up a pre-built gingerbread house, a filled candy case, and a tablecloth for easy cleanup. The cost for this take-home kit is $45.

Throughout the event, the candy buffet will feature nut-free candies. The gingerbread houses are pre-built by KidsQuest staff and volunteers, and while additional houses may be available, there is no guarantee for extras on the day of the event, so reserve extras now!
