Overlake Medical Center is hosting an informative event titled “Maintaining Health Through the Holidays,” featuring Dr. Amylee Amos. This presentation aims to provide attendees with practical tips and evidence-based strategies for enjoying the holiday season while prioritizing health and well-being. The event will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bellden Cafe, located on Main Street in Bellevue.

Presentation Details

Dr. Amylee Amos, who holds a PhD in Integrative and Functional Nutrition from Saybrook University, will lead the presentation. Her background includes comprehensive post-graduate training and certification in functional medicine and nutrition from the Institute for Functional Medicine. As a registered dietitian and nutritionist, Dr. Amos founded the Amos Institute, which provides nutrition courses, concierge nutrition services, and conducts research in the field.

During her presentation, Dr. Amos will cover the below essential topics:

  • Maximizing nutrient density in holiday meals
  • Maintaining a healthy sleep schedule amid holiday festivities
  • Stress reduction techniques through mindfulness practices
