KidsQuest Children’s Museum will host its annual Gingerbread Workshops at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on November 28–29, continuing a long-standing Bellevue holiday tradition. Now in its 19th year, the event brings families and friends together to decorate gingerbread houses using hundreds of pounds of candy and frosting—all without the cleanup.

This year’s program offers three themed sessions. The Nutcracker Gingerbread Workshop will feature a live ballet performance by the Flight Feathers Ballet Company before participants create their gingerbread houses. Gingerbread After Dark is an adults-only evening session offering a complimentary glass of champagne, a paid bar, and a private candy shop. The Classic Gingerbread Workshop welcomes families to design candy-covered creations together in a festive setting.

“Gingerbread Workshops have been part of the KidsQuest story since the very beginning,” said Putter Bert, President & CEO of KidsQuest Children’s Museum. “Families have made this event a part of their holiday traditions, and we hope to welcome more families and friends to celebrate with us for years to come.”

Workshops take place Friday, November 28, from 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m., and Saturday, November 29, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2–4 p.m. Tickets are available now at KidsQuestMuseum.org, and early registration is recommended as sessions normally sell out each year.
