Rolex has filed permits with the City of Bellevue to open a new location at The Shops at The Bravern, according to city records. The proposed store would be located in the space formerly occupied by Wolford, a luxury women’s lingerie brand, on the main level of the shopping center. The space is attached to the former Neiman Marcus store, which closed in 2020.
Permit filings for the project are currently under review. A construction timeline and anticipated opening date have not yet been announced.
The planned Bellevue location would place Rolex among other luxury retailers at The Bravern. Another Swiss watchmaker, Omega, operates a boutique just two storefronts away.
Rolex is a prestigious Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, known globally for its precision, quality, and iconic designs. Unlike many luxury brands, Rolex operates relatively few company-owned retail stores.
Instead, the brand primarily sells its watches through a limited network of authorized dealers, typically high-end jewelry stores such as Ben Bridge. Due to strong demand and tightly controlled inventory, Rolex watches are often difficult to purchase, even at authorized retailers.
Because of this retail strategy, the opening of a dedicated Rolex boutique is considered notable. A standalone store reflects both Rolex’s confidence in a local market and the continued growth of Bellevue as a destination for high-end retail.
In recent years, Rolex has expanded its physical retail presence in select markets. Since 2024, the brand has opened stores in Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Plano, Texas. Additional locations have recently opened in the Miami Design District and at Royalmount in Montreal.
In December 2024, a Rolex boutique opened on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, followed by a new location on Old Bond Street in London in 2025. A Rolex store is also planned for Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
