Furniture Brand Article Opening First U.S. Store in Bellevue This October

Article, a Vancouver, B.C.-based direct-to-consumer furniture brand, is opening its first U.S. store at The Bellevue Collection in October 2026. The 8,241-square-foot store will be located on the second level of Lincoln Square North.

The Bellevue store will be Article’s third location overall. The company opened its first physical store in Vancouver, B.C. in August 2024 after operating as a digital-only brand since its founding in 2013. A Toronto location has since been announced, and the company plans to operate up to five total locations by early 2027.

Washington State played a role in the decision to expand to Bellevue. Article established early warehouse operations in Seattle to support regional demand, and Washington remains one of the company’s top five U.S. markets.

“We built Article as a digital-first brand, and physical retail is a natural extension of that,” said Aamir Baig, co-founder and CEO of Article. “The greater Seattle area has always been a priority market, and Bellevue is a strategic next step for us. The strength of our customer base here and the performance of the Bellevue Collection as a retail center made this an easy decision.”

Article offers modern furniture, including sofas, dining, bedroom, and living room pieces across mid-century, Scandinavian, and contemporary styles. Since launching in 2013, the company has delivered nearly three million orders to customers across the U.S. and Canada.
