Bellevue’s coworking spaces rank in the national top 20 across all four amenity categories tracked in a new report from CoworkingCafe, with the city’s strongest rankings coming in pet-friendliness and EV charging access.
How the Report Was Compiled
CoworkingCafe built its rankings from listing data drawn from its directory of more than 8,200 coworking spaces across the United States.
The company evaluated cities on four amenity categories meant to capture how professionals are choosing flexible workspace in 2026: pet-friendly perks, sport and relaxation offerings, childcare support, and EV charging access.
Rather than measuring price or square footage, the report tracks which cities pack the most lifestyle-oriented features into their coworking listings, treating those features as a proxy for how a local flex-space market is evolving.
Nationally, the report found that roughly one in four coworking spaces,2,090 of the 8,222 tracked, offer what CoworkingCafe classifies as a standout, or “WOW,” amenity, something beyond baseline features like Wi-Fi and coffee service.
Bellevue’s Standing
Bellevue placed in the top 20 nationally in all four categories measured:
Pet-friendliness: No. 2 in the country, with 22.7% of its coworking spaces — 5 of 22 — offering pet-friendly accommodations. Bellevue tied with Oakland for the No. 2 spot nationally.
EV charging: No. 5 nationally, the strongest showing among Pacific Northwest cities. Bellevue outranked Seattle, which placed No. 13.
Childcare support: No. 8 nationally.
Sport and relaxation amenities: No. 12 nationally.
Bellevue outperformed Seattle in both the pet-friendliness and EV charging categories, despite Seattle’s larger overall coworking market.
National Context
In the pet-friendly category, San Francisco and Denver share the top national ranking, each offering pet-friendly perks at 26% of their coworking locations. Bellevue’s 22.7% places it just behind that pair.
Cambridge, Massachusetts, led the country by a wide margin in the sport and relaxation category, with 85% of its coworking spaces featuring amenities such as lounges, fitness centers, or wellness rooms.
Minneapolis topped the childcare category nationally, with 29% of its coworking spaces offering mother’s rooms, nursing facilities, or on-site childcare.
Irvine, California, led the nation in EV readiness, with charging stations available at 27% of its coworking spaces.
According to CoworkingCafe, coworking amenities increasingly reflect the character of the city around them, rather than existing as a generic feature set. The report describes the amenity sheet at a coworking space as having become nearly as important a factor for tenants as lease terms.
Bellevue has a comparatively small overall inventory of coworking spaces, but the rankings show that the amenities those spaces do offer skew toward pet accommodations and EV infrastructure in particular.
