Downtown Bellevue’s most conveniently located apartment building, Avalon Meydenbauer, has long been under construction and is now ready for occupancy.

Located kitty corner to Bellevue Square at 10410 NE 2nd St, the apartments are centrally located in Downtown Bellevue. In addition to the great location, amenities include a fitness center, resident lounge, Wi-fi access, and luxury interiors. One of the greatest luxuries of this building will be the on site Safeway (unless customers choose to use the even more convenient Amazon Fresh).

Avalon Meydenbauer will be the first of many apartment buildings that will be coming to market within the next couple of years. Can the Downtown Bellevue market sustain so much luxury apartment growth?

  1. Do you have the square footage information? It’s hard to comment on the price without knowing the unit sizes.

  2. Post has been updated to include square footage!

  3. I know 12 central square did some remodeling and their rates have increased. I used to live there last year. It was close to 2k a month, but they are 1300 sq.

  4. The prices seem a little high considering the size of the units. I’ll stick to working in downtown and living a little further outside of downtown, where $2000/month goes a lot farther.

  5. This is right on with what I thought the units would run.

I just can’t imagine paying that much to rent a studio though…

Having said that the one bedrooms are HARDLY one bedrooms…as far as their size they mine as well call them studios as well.

  6. is their web site, and the floor plans are available on there. The prices don’t seem that bad to me. The last time I rented in downtown bellevue I was paying just about $1k a month for a one bedroom that was probably about this size. That was five years ago, when I bought my condo here. Now I pay the bank and the taxman instead of the landlord.

  7. I went to their website and saw that they don’t have granite counter-tops(only the bar is granite). No stainless steel appliances. That’s hardly luxurious as they claim.

The location is excellent, however. You can walk to the mall and the park. Without really going inside to look, I think the prices are fair.

  8. You can save $500 a month and get just as nice a place someone else DT, NO DEAL HOWIE!

  9. I think the prices are too high for the square footage. I’m sure a secured parking spot is extra. I would think the price should be in the $1350-1400 range for a one bedroom.
