A new panda-themed bubble tea shop, TeaByDo, has held its grand opening in Downtown Bellevue.
The shop is located at 1075 Bellevue Way NE, inside Belgate Plaza, the same complex as Asia Hiwave City. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The menu includes fresh fruit teas, milk teas, cheese teas, and smoothies. Signature drinks include the Mango Pomelo Sago and the Kyoho Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie, along with the Gardenia Dew Fresh Milk Tea, a Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie with jelly, a Coconut & Watermelon drink, and an Oolong Milk Tea with soybean cheese foam.
TeaByDo operates internationally under the name ChaPanda, known in Chinese as Chabaidao, and uses a panda as its mascot. The chain originated in Chengdu, in China’s Sichuan province, the hometown of the giant panda.
TeaByDo was founded by Wang Xiaokun in 2008 and has since grown to more than 9,000 locations worldwide, making it one of China’s top bubble tea brands. In the United States, the chain also has locations in New York, Irvine, and San Jose, as well as locations in Canada.
Downtown Bellevue is home to several other bubble tea shops, including CHICHA San Chen in Bellevue Square, Molly Tea Bellevue, HEYTEA at The Bravern, and Don’t Yell at Me at Bellevue Connection.
