Bellevue Seeks Public Input in Developing 2025-26 Budget

Bellevue Downtown Park

Bellevue residents, workers, and visitors are encouraged to participate in the City’s biennial Budget Survey, an important initiative in shaping the upcoming 2025-26 budget. The survey, open until Jan. 22, seeks to gather diverse perspectives from the community, essential for assessing the city’s current status and future requirements.

This online survey is available in multiple languages to ensure inclusivity. While the city has long relied on a random-sample survey methodology, aiming to capture insights from a broader spectrum of demographic groups.

Participants in the open survey are encouraged to express their viewpoints on several key aspects, including priority outcomes for the city budget, ratings of importance and satisfaction regarding city services and facilities, and the overall perception of life in Bellevue.

Questions cover different areas like the rating of Bellevue as a place to live, the quality of services provided by the city, and whether individuals feel they are receiving commensurate value for their tax dollars.

This call for feedback emphasizes the City of Bellevue’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and responsive decision-making process. Community members are strongly encouraged to take part in the survey, contributing their insights and perspectives to shape the future trajectory of Bellevue.
