The Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) is currently hosting its annual Holiday Arts Fair from through December 22, 2024. The fair runs Thursdays through Sundays, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the museum’s location at 510 Bellevue Way NE.
This event provides an opportunity for the public to explore a range of handmade art, including painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics, photography, and jewelry, making it perfect for holiday gifts.
The BAM Holiday Arts Fair coincides with the Snowflake Lane parade in downtown Bellevue featuring lights, music, and performances.
In a statement, Kate CasprowiakScher, Executive Director of BAM, expressed the significance of the event. “Opening our doors for the Holiday Arts Fair is a heartfelt moment for us. It gives us the opportunity to reconnect with our community, celebrate creative culture, and advocate for the importance of art in downtown Bellevue,” she said. CasprowiakScher emphasized the event’s role in the museum’s ongoing efforts to adapt during a period of organizational change.
In addition to the art on display, the fair will offer activities for children, refreshments, and a wine bar. Visitors can also participate in the event by sharing their feedback at the BAM table, where an Idea Board and suggestion box will be available. This is part of the museum’s broader efforts to gather input as it enters a period of reinvention.
Admission to the BAM Holiday Arts Fair is free.
