The City of Bellevue will host its 2026 Experience Bellevue! celebration on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. N.E. in Downtown Bellevue. The event is free and open to every community member, with no ticket required for general admission.
Held every other year, Experience Bellevue! is built around introducing residents to the city they live in — connecting neighbors to one another, opening the doors of municipal facilities and putting the region’s cultural diversity on display. Attendees will have the chance to talk directly with city leaders and get acquainted with the people and places that shape Bellevue.
Free coffee and pastries will be served until noon while supplies last.
What’s on the schedule
Programming spans the full six hours and covers a wide range of interests:
- Multicultural performances, including music and dance
- A fire truck on display and a demonstration of the Bellevue Police Department’s drone program
- A City Hall scavenger hunt for families and kids
- Salsa lessons
- Discovery tours and guided walk-throughs of city facilities
- Workshops covering tai chi and mahjong
- A KidsQuest Kid Zone with hands-on activities
- Global food vendors representing cuisines from across the community
- A storytelling showcase featuring residents describing how they found a sense of belonging in Bellevue
- Registration recommended for tours and workshops.
Capacity is limited for the tours and several of the workshops, so the city recommends signing up ahead of time. Registration is open at ExperienceBellevue2026.eventbrite.com. Walk-up attendance is still welcome for the rest of the event.
