The Bellevue Collection will host its Fashion Reigns Runway Show on Saturday, Sept. 26, inside the building that will become the new home of KidsQuest Children’s Museum, pairing fall runway looks with food from the Dining District and directing every dollar of ticket revenue to the museum. Tickets for the 21-and-over event went on sale Friday, Aug. 14 at bellevuecollection.com/fashionreigns.
The venue is the former Bellevue Arts Museum building at 510 Bellevue Way NE, which KidsQuest purchased from BAM earlier this year and plans to convert into a larger permanent downtown home. The City of Bellevue committed $10 million toward that relocation in May.
What Ticket Holders Get
Seating is arranged so that every guest sits in the front row along the runway. Admission also covers food and drinks from restaurants in The Bellevue Collection’s Dining District, a $25 Bellevue Collection Promo Card redeemable at any of the property’s stores and restaurants, and a gift with additional offers.
“Fall fashion at The Collection has always been about bringing our community together,” said Jennifer Leavitt, senior vice president of marketing for The Bellevue Collection. “This year, we have the privilege of supporting KidsQuest Children’s Museum while shining a light on the space that will soon be transformed into their future home. Fashion Reigns Runway Show is an avenue for guests to experience the best of The Bellevue Collection’s fashion offerings while supporting an organization that inspires creativity, curiosity and learning for families throughout our region.”
Two Decades of Fundraising
The fall runway show has run for more than 20 years, and ticket sales over that span have generated upward of $1.5 million for community partners working in social services, health, education and the arts. Last year’s 20th-anniversary edition raised $106,000 for two local nonprofits.
All proceeds from Fashion Reigns tickets go to KidsQuest, which builds its programming around learning through play, creative problem-solving and discovery.
The Rest of the Fall Fashion Lineup
Fashion Reigns anchors a run of styling, fitness and beauty programming at The Bellevue Collection this fall, following the format of the property’s spring events series:
The Style Code Consultations — Thursday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Level 3 of Bellevue Square’s Center Court. Stylists Terri Morgan and Rian MacLeod lead 45-minute one-on-one appointments covering three areas: the color families that suit a client’s complexion, how silhouette and proportion work with body structure, and a personal Style ID that points toward specific style elements and brands. Sessions cost $50 and are booked at bellevuecollection.com/stylecode.
Glow Series: Pilates Edition — Sunday, Sept. 27, 9:30 to 11 a.m., Bellevue Square’s Center Court. TruFusion leads a Pilates class followed by light bites. Tickets are $15 and come with a $15 Bellevue Collection Promo Card. Registration is at bellevuecollection.com/fallfitness.
Fall Edit Runway Show — Saturday, Oct. 3, 8:30 to 10 a.m., Bellevue Square’s Center Court. Tyrah Majors hosts the show, produced by fashion stylist Terri Morgan, which combines runway looks, beauty activations and styling commentary on the season’s trends. The $50 ticket includes sips and bites, a gift and a $25 Bellevue Collection Promo Card. Seating is open and first come, first served after check-in; beauty booths close at 8:55 a.m. and the show starts at 9 a.m. Tickets are at bellevuecollection.com/runwayshow.
Fall Mini Runways — Saturday, Oct. 3, between noon and 4 p.m., Bellevue Square’s Center Court. Free pop-up shows run throughout the afternoon with fall looks pulled from Bellevue Collection retailers.
