AOL announced in August that they will close or sell 300-400 of their local news “Patch” sites. Tuesday the editor of Bellevue Patch announced her last day. The editor had been there since the beginning of Patch Bellevue 3 years ago, and wrote most of the content for the site.
The departure likely indicates that the Bellevue Patch site will now be filled with user submitted content, as well as the national Patch content.
