The Bellevue Collection

City Square Bellevue is the apartment community at 938 110th Ave NE, on the east side of 110th Avenue NE just south of NE 10th Street, kitty-corner from the Bellevue Library on the calmer east side of downtown Bellevue. It is a low-rise, not a tower: 191 apartments in four buildings over an underground garage, completed in 1998 according to King County records, set around a courtyard with a grilling area. Equity Residential leases it today as studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, many with Juliet balconies or corner bay windows, in-home washers and dryers and renovated kitchens and baths. The street level along 110th is a small restaurant row of its own — Andiamo Italian Ristorante and Chutneys, plus Salon Tewl and Jet City iRepair.

DBN’s coverage of the address has mostly come through its restaurants. In March 2010 DBN reported that the owner of Andiamo, then a 90-seat Italian room at 938 110th kitty-corner from the library, had put it up for sale ahead of retirement; it stayed in business and changed hands in 2023. In July 2023, Chutneys reopened after a remodel under Suhani and Yogesh Nagpal, who took over from an owner of 25 years. In October 2025, when vandals shattered Andiamo’s windows, DBN’s story placed the restaurant at City Square Bellevue Apartments and followed the neighbors who turned out to eat there. King County records show the complex was bought as a finished building by Oakwood Bellevue LLC in 1999, which is why older directories still list the address as Oakwood Bellevue.

It suits a renter who wants a quiet, courtyard-style building a straight walk from the 2 Line and The Bravern, with dinner downstairs. See how it compares in our guide to every downtown Bellevue apartment building.
