Venn at Main is the seven-story apartment building that fills the block at the northwest corner of Bellevue Way and Main Street — the gateway corner into Old Bellevue, with Downtown Park directly across NE 1st Street and Bellevue Square a few blocks north. Equity Residential runs it: 353 homes in studios, one- and two-bedrooms, lofts and two-level townhouses, with quartz counters, in-home washer-dryers, high ceilings and big windows over Old Main. The amenity list leads with an expansive rooftop lounge and dog-friendly deck with city and lake views, then a 24-hour gym with a yoga and spin studio, a game room with billiards and shuffleboard, a media room, a fire-pit courtyard and Tesla Superchargers in the garage. At street level are West Elm, Dough Zone, Nana’s Green Tea and Robbins Brothers.

DBN has covered this block since April 2013, when Vander Hoek Corp. filed permits for the Main Street Gateway: 369 apartments, 23,475 square feet of retail and 625 underground stalls on a 1.9-acre block of six older buildings. The Spot Off Main closed in March 2014, and by that May 7-Eleven, Cupcake Royale, Rudy’s Barbershop and Araya’s Place were gone too; demolition cleared the corner that September. By June 2016 the project had become Venn at Main, with city permits bringing West Elm and Robbins Brothers to its base. West Elm opened its first Bellevue store here in October 2016, the apartments opened that December, and The Wolff Company sold the building to Equity Residential the next September. Dough Zone and, in January 2023, Nana’s Green Tea filled out the storefronts.

It suits renters who want Downtown Park as a front yard and Old Main’s restaurants downstairs, in a mid-rise rather than a tower; see how it compares in our guide to every downtown Bellevue apartment building.

Location

Getting Around & Living Here

You are on the corner where downtown turns into Old Bellevue: Main Street’s shops out one door, Downtown Park out the other.

Getting There & Parking

  • Drive: Resident parking is in the four-level underground garage — 607 stalls, per the general contractor’s 2017 release — with Tesla Superchargers and EV charging stations on site; assignment and current terms come from the leasing office.
  • Light rail: 2 Line to Bellevue Downtown Station, then walk west across downtown on NE 4th St to Bellevue Way and south to Main (East Main Station, then west along Main Street, is about as far) — see our light rail guide
  • On foot: The leasing entrance is on NE 1st St facing Downtown Park. Main Street’s Old Bellevue restaurants run west from the corner; Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square are a short walk north up Bellevue Way or through the park.

What It’s Like

This is a busy corner by Old Bellevue standards: Bellevue Way is a main arterial, and West Elm, Dough Zone and Nana’s keep the sidewalks below busy. Step around to NE 1st and it changes character — the leasing entrance faces Downtown Park, the rooftop looks out over the city and toward the lake, and the official site puts the Walk Score at 94. It suits people who work downtown or in the Collection, want a park across the street for the dog, and like having dinner options in the building.

What’s Nearby

Some of the best neighbors are in the building itself: try Dough Zone downstairs on Main for soup dumplings, Nana’s Green Tea around the corner on 103rd for a matcha parfait, or Monsoon a block west on Main for Vietnamese.

Good to Know

As of September 2026: cats and dogs welcome with pet charges, plus a dog-friendly rooftop and a pet washing station; the building is smoke-free; the official site calls it Airbnb-friendly; extra storage is available. Addresses confuse map apps — the leasing office is 10333 NE 1st St, while the storefronts use 10300 and 10360 Main St, 1 Bellevue Way NE and 16 103rd Ave NE. No income-restricted homes are listed on the official site. DBN does not print rents or specials; the Equity Residential page shows live availability.
