Bellevue, Voted by Fortune as BEST Place to Live and Launch a Business

Winners were announced today on CNN, where the best places in the country were to live and launch a business. Out of the best 100 cities that were listed, Bellevue, WA was on the very top of that list as the #1 place to “Live and Launch!”

The rankings were based on the following: affordable housing, plentiful leisure activities, plentiful cultural options, job growth, sunny weather, short commute time, and good health care access.

The strong points, as stated for Bellevue, were a talented workforce and growing Downtown area! The con was the high priced cost of living. Also stated as a great benefit of starting a business in Bellevue was that businesses with less than $135,000 in taxable revenues don’t have to pay Business and Occupations tax (B&O).
