Urban Eats BellevueSummer is over and with it goes all the extra dining dollars we spent enjoying patios during the warm months. But October is here, and that means restaurants are luring us back with the twice-yearly Urban Eats promotion!

Sundays through Thursdays, from October 1st-29th, over 30 restaurants in Seattle and on the Eastside will be offering 3-course meals for $30 (plus tax, beverages, and tip). So choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert, and spend about 20% less than you usually would! As we all know, nothing makes good food taste better than good food, cheap.

So who in Downtown Bellevue is participating? We have 3 choices – Flo Restaurant & Sake Bar, Pearl Bar & Dining, and Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar. I have to say that Seastar’s menu offerings sound fabulous; I would certainly choose the scallop ceviche, a massive sushi platter, and creme brulee as my perfect meal. But don’t overlook Flo. This sushi bar is probably the finest on the Eastside (Izumi in Kirkland and Ginza off Main Street are close seconds) – and getting their sushi at a discounted price is a foodie’s dream! But if you’re in the mood for comfort food, head to Pearl where their offerings include gnocchi, butternut squash bisque, and bread pudding.

And remember – Urban Eats in October is just the beginning. Dine Around Seattle, with its $30 menus at 0/8 Seafood Grill and Monsoon East, returns in November! Start fasting now.

  1. Agreed, I love Seastar and I believe they’re extending their Urban Eats offerings thru the weekend, which is extra nice. Usually the restaurants limit to just Sun-Thurs.

  2. Great promotion! I’ve never been disappointed any time I’ve dined at Seastar. Would be nice if more restaurants in Bellevie were a part of this.

  3. Love Seastar restaurant. Read; ceviche – anything ceviche or seafood at seastar is tops. Flo: great for the best high end, quality sushi in bellevue, in my humblest of opinions. only had drinks at pearl.
