Pret A Manger is a ‘fast food’ sandwich shop that makes their food from preservative-free ingredients. The sandwich shops started in London in 1986 and expanded to New York in the US in 2000. There are over 200 stores in London and 24 in New York, along with stores in Hong Kong, Washington D.C., and Chicago later this year. The company with its classic storefronts has started a sandwich frenzy for those lucky enough to have had the opportunity to enjoy the freshly made food!
The sandwiches are preservative free, artificial flavoring free, growth hormone free, and are freshly placed into a display case that is regularly replenished. As a customer you are able to retrieve the sandwich that meets your interest and pay. It is quick gourmet sandwiches at fast-food prices!
Downtown Bellevue could use a great sandwich shop like Pret A Manger. Unfortunately they have not plans to expand to the West Coast right now, but when they do we’ll be hungry and waiting!
