  2. If anyone from Bravern management is reading this: make your parking free on the weekends without validation!

    What’s so complex about that?

Currently there are machines spewing out tickets, people having to validate them, and there are two persons sitting in the booth collecting tickets.

Imagine the money wasted to maintain all this? Not to forget you are probably turning people away from Bravern who just don’t bother with the concept of ticket validation in Bellevue.

Sometimes I wonder who are the people running that place. Bravern is great, don’t ruin it further.

  3. Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your feedback about parking on the weekend. I wish it were that simple. We use the cars entering and exiting the garage to measure our on-site traffic at this time. We are looking at different ways to measure our traffic and will keep your feedback in mind. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience. Our ticket machines will also process any validated ticket so you don’t have to wait for a booth attendant.

Thank you for thinking we are great!

    Sincerely,
Tami – The Shops at The Bravern

  4. Thanks a lot for replying Tami.

I seriously like Bravern and I think you guys deserve more success than it currently enjoys.

It is interesting that the reason for ticket validation is for measuring traffic.

I am willing to have a bet with you that the moment you declare free parking, you will see a visible healthy increase in foot traffic without needing Corporate Accountants to tell you that.

Downtown Bellevue is built on the concept of “free parking in Bellevue Square”, and people have got used to it and find it a big turnoff of having to validate parking.

  5. Thanks for your thoughts. I appreciate the information and will definitely share with the rest of the team. Hopefully we will see you soon!
