Help Heavy Restaurant Group Raise $50,000 for "Team for Kids"

A local restaurant operator, Heavy Restaurant Group, has made a commitment to raise over $50,000 for

“Team for Kids” in September. That’s a provider of low-cost school and community based health and fitness programs for kids who don’t have an opportunity to be involved in physical activity.

At any of the Purple Cafes, Lot No. 3 or Barrio restaurants, you can participate in a raffle for a $1,000 Gift Card that can be used at any of the preceding restaurants. Each restaurant location will be raffling off a $1,000 gift card. Additionally, on Saturday, September 29th, a percentage of the day’s proceeds will be contributed to “Team For Kids”. Raffle tickets may also be purchased online at the Heavy Restaurant Group website.

The restaurant group has gathered over eighty valuable items that are being offered via an online auction. These items include show tickets, wine experiences, and more. You can make a positive difference for some local kids by supporting this event.
