The Bellevue Collection’s Fashion Week Spotlights International Soccer Star

Eddie Johnson Soccer Star Bellevue Fashion Week
International soccer star Eddie Johnson will present “Fashion Forward by Eddie Johnson,” a special segment at the upcoming girls’ night out “Posh Party Beauty & Trend Show,” during Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection.

“I’m excited about getting into the world of fashion … I had the opportunity to play soccer and live in London for 3 ½ years. Seeing how people dressed, how they presented themselves and their sense of style, made me want to do the same and now fashion is a big part of my life,” Johnson said in a press statement.

Johnson, one of the youngest players to sign with Major League Soccer’s Dallas Burn in the 2001 MLS SuperDraft, joined the Seattle Sounders FC in 2012. He was also selected to represent the U.S. Men’s National Team for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The downtown Posh Party kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Guests can sip cocktails, learn about fall beauty trends from the Macy’s Beauty Report, and enjoy the fall fashion runway show. Ticket sales for this all-ages event benefit Bellevue LifeSpring.
