The Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue is hosting the Chris Mathews Celebrity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to be held at the Foster Family Field House on Saturday, July 11th.
Chris Matthews and fellow Seahawk players will play in the Celebrity Round of a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Tournament action begins at 10 a.m.,with the High School Division, which will be followed by the Open Division competition at 1:30 p.m. The winning teams from the High School and Open Divisions will move up to play for the Championship Title in the Celebrity Division beginning at 5PM. Teams of 3 – 4 can register to play in the High School and Open Divisions and a choice few slots are available for individuals to join the pros in the Celebrity Round. The Chris Matthews Celebrity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is open to the public, however, a $10 donation is suggested to support the Boys and Girls Club Of Bellevue. Players and spectators are asked to bring backpacks and school supplies which will be donated to school children in the Dominican Republic.
The proceeds from the Chris Matthews Celebrity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue and its Be Great Bellevue campaign to to build a new Clubhouse in Bellevue.
