The Bellevue Collection is partnered with Seattle Maharashtra Mandal to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, at Bellevue Square.
Diwali is a cultural celebration symbolizing the victory of good over evil. It is one of the most celebrated holidays and is recognized by different faiths.
To celebrate, there will be traditional and contemporary cultural demonstrations like Henna artists, Indian sweets, Indian-inspired performance and interactive art opportunities. There will also be dance performances, which will include styles like Bollywood, North-Indian folk, Bhangra and more.
The main events will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, from 11am to 7pm at Bellevue Square.
Indian-inspired decor and art will be displayed at Bellevue Square from November 1 through November 11.
