Residences at GIS Plaza Feat. Bellevue’s First Auto-Valet Parking Garage

GIS Plaza Bellevue

Sales began in early 2023 for the luxury condo building, GIS Plaza. The mixed-use development features six stories of residences, retail, and office space. What sets these residences apart from others in the downtown Bellevue area, is its state-of-the-art access control system and cutting-edge auto valet parking garage.

The residences are located on floors two through six, while office space is on the second floor. The first floor has retail space and an entry lobby for the office and residences above.

In Bellevue, GIS Plaza stands out as the sole condo with an auto valet parking system. This high-tech perk is a rarity in Washington state, with only a handful of systems used locally. There are 21 spots total in the parking garage.

Residents simply drive their cars onto a platform and exit the car once parked. When they want to leave, they don’t need to hunt for their car in a garage. They just press a button, and the car comes to them. This technology for parking a car automatically is more commonly used in Asia, with the drivers leaving their vehicle at the drop-off area and activating the service with a fob or smartphone app.

For those with an electric car, nine parking spots are available with EV charging. The vehicle can charge overnight.

Each home includes one parking space, while the two-bedroom option offers two parking spaces.

The building also has a state-of-the-art access control system for easily accessible security in each home and the building. Remote access can be granted to visitors.

GIS Plaza is a modern, boutique residential building. It offers a lot of natural light because of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the custom curtain wall enclosure system, making it the only low-rise in Bellevue built with such construction methods. Square footage for the units ranges from 478 square feet to 1,284 square feet, while pricing for the condos ranges between $700,000 to $1,795,000.

The kitchens feature Miele appliances, contemporary cabinetry from Ballerina Kuchen made in Germany, and imported Italian Della Terra Calcatta Ultra Quartz countertops. The bathrooms include an oversized shower with a frameless glass door, vanity mirrors with integrated lighting, heated floors, and imported Italian tile throughout.

Designed by nationally renowned SkB Architects, the development has been engineered and constructed by some of the region’s top-performing companies.
