Primo’s Lounge has officially opened at 1020 Bellevue Way NE in downtown Bellevue. The new restaurant and lounge replaces Stone Lounge, which previously occupied the space before its eviction.

The concept was founded by Chris Harris and Chuck Wang as a tribute to their friend Juan “Primo.” They later brought in Tye, a longtime friend, to help lead the hospitality side of the business. The ownership group consists of four partners from diverse backgrounds, each representing a minority community.

Primo’s menu blends modern American and international cuisine, including French and Asian influences, paired with a curated wine and spirits list. The venue features an upscale dining environment highlighted by a centerpiece piano and three private dining rooms. The Oak Room accommodates up to 16 guests, the Cedar Room up to 20, and the Grove Room up to 36 seated or 41 standing.

The restaurant offers valet parking and is now accepting reservations.

Next to Primo’s location, a major mixed-use project is planned at 1000–1100 Bellevue Way NE. The Bellevue North development, led by Wallace Properties, will be built in two phases. Phase one includes two mixed-use buildings: a high-rise with 308 residential units and retail space, and a mid-rise with 158 units and retail. Both will share a four-level underground parking podium.

Phase two will add two mid-rise buildings with 429 residential units, 23,683 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 474 parking stalls, and seven affordable housing units. The site currently includes a strip mall with businesses such as Wells Fargo, UPS, Panera Bread, and Adventure Kids Playcare. Umpqua Bank is located across the street.
