High Street Northwest Development, Inc. has submitted plans to build a new eight-story residential building at 1200 116th Avenue Northeast in Bellevue’s Wilburton neighborhood. The project would include approximately 215 to 225 apartment units, with about 10% expected to be affordable and the rest market rate.

The building would have two levels of underground parking with 145 to 155 spaces and upper-level amenity decks for residents. The total building area is expected to be about 250,000 square feet, with an additional 52,000 square feet for structured parking. No retail or commercial space is planned.

The site currently contains a one-story medical office building of 8,240 square feet, built in 1970. That building will be demolished, and current tenants will relocate to another commercial office space.

The project is seeking design review approval and related permits from the city. Construction is planned to start in the summer of 2027.

The project was designed by Weber Thompson, and there are no future phases planned beyond this development.

  1. The traffic is already horrific on 116th. I can’t imagine adding that many more cars to the area.
