Bellevue police have arrested a 24-year-old Bellevue man following an investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation and trafficking of a missing juvenile.
According to the Bellevue Police Department, the investigation began in March when patrol officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment in downtown Bellevue. During that response, officers arrested Ray Lavoll, 24, on domestic violence-related charges.
While investigating the incident, officers identified the female victim as a 14-year-old girl who had previously been reported missing from Tacoma.
Detectives continued to investigate and later developed evidence indicating the juvenile had allegedly been sexually exploited and trafficked by Lavoll in Bellevue and along Aurora Avenue in Seattle, according to police.
On May 29, detectives arrested Lavoll while serving a search warrant at his Bellevue apartment. During the search, investigators recovered approximately $8,000 in cash concealed within the residence. Police said detectives also found evidence consistent with promoting prostitution, along with suspected narcotics.
Lavoll was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of Human Trafficking in the Second Degree, Promoting Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor, and Rape of a Child in the Third Degree. All three offenses are felony crimes.
As part of the ongoing investigation, detectives executed a search warrant on Lavoll’s vehicle on June 2. Police reported finding a loaded semi-automatic pistol, additional ammunition, and suspected narcotics packaged in a manner consistent with sales and distribution.
According to investigators, Lavoll is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms.
Bellevue Police Chief Wendell Shirley said the case highlights the department’s commitment to protecting vulnerable victims and pursuing those responsible for exploitation.
“This case reflects the dedication of our officers and detectives in identifying and protecting vulnerable victims while holding offenders accountable,” Shirley said in a statement. “Human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children are among the most heinous crimes we investigate, and remain committed to working with our partners to identify victims, support their recovery, and pursue those who prey upon them.”
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
Social media reports have linked the investigation to a Bellevue rental property referred to online as the “OnlyFans House.” Bellevue police have confirmed that one person has been arrested as part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation connected to a Bellevue residence that hosted large parties promoted on social media.
According to information released by police, neighbors had reported concerns about underage drinking, assaults, excessive noise, and other disturbances associated with events at the property. Investigators said they began examining the location after receiving complaints and subsequently uncovered evidence that led to the human trafficking investigation.
Police said enforcement efforts at the property are ongoing and that the landlord is working to evict the current tenants. No additional arrests have been announced, and Bellevue police have not released further details about the status of the broader investigation.
