With much construction coming to a halt in Downtown Bellevue, we thought it would be interesting to highlight projects that are currently under review by the City of Bellevue. Six separate projects have received Entitlement Review, but have not been issued construction permits as of yet. Despite the concerning trends of the decline in leased and sub-leased office spaces in the city, the following projects are still in the works.
Bellevue 600 (Master Development Plan)
Amazon’s Bellevue 600 consists of two office towers, totaling over one million square feet of office space, and 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The project will be happening in two phases. The 43-story tower and parking garage included in Phase I is currently under construction, and Phase II is well on its way. The address is 600 108th Avenue Northeast.
Cloudvue Master Development Plan (Master Development Plan, Design Review)
Cloudvue is the largest proposed high-rise project in Bellevue. Three towers are planned to be on 4.5 acres. Tower I is planned to be office use space with ground floor retail. Tower II is planned to be a hotel and multi-family residential use with ground floor retail. Tower III is planed office space with ground floor retail.
The project will feature 416 residential units, 54 residential stories, and 286 hotel rooms. There will also be 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The address is 10855 Northeast 8th Street.
Water features are planned to be included in the development, including a “mist garden”, as well as a live-events venue, called “The Playhouse.”
