David Yurman is set to open its new location at Bellevue Square, taking over the space previously occupied by Kate Spade, according to City of Bellevue permits. The store is 1,755 square feet.
Located on the first level adjacent to the former Ted Baker store, the luxury jeweler is known for its timeless pieces for both men and women, notably its Cable Classic bracelets. Founded in New York City, David Yurman’s expansion to Bellevue Square marks an exciting addition to the mall’s offerings.
Kate Spade, which closed in May 2024 after a 12-year tenure, specialized in handbags, womenswear, and accessories. The store originally opened at Bellevue Square in 2012, becoming the second location in the greater Seattle area alongside its Pacific Place store.
Before Kate Spade, the space was occupied by Movado, which left following a legal dispute over lease terms after announcing the closure of its U.S. boutiques. Bellevue Square reportedly took legal action against Movado for violating their rental agreement.
Joining David Yurman in this retail transformation is Vuori, the popular activewear brand, which will be located nextdoor at what was previously Ted Baker. Vuori’s upcoming Bellevue Square store will mark its debut on the Eastside, scheduled to open its doors in late 2024.
