The Shops at The Bravern will commemorate its 1st anniversary, and toast fashion’s latest styles, September 10th – September 12th with a center-wide celebration featuring music, modeling, appetizers, champagne, shopping, treats and more.
During the 1st year, The Shops at The Bravern and its merchants have raised or donated more than $550,000 to more than 150 charities and non-profit organizations in the Pudget Sound area, including Hopelink, the Overlake Medical Center Foundation, and the Bellevue Schools Foundation.
The Shops at The Bravern is also celebrating economic success. Sales have contributed an incremental 9% to Bellevue’s retail and restaurant sales tax from September 2009 – June 2010. The Bravern is home to about 3,000 jobs, between Microsoft, the retailers, and operations staff. This additional workforce enhances the region’s economic and social vitality, according to a press release.
