Cupcake Royal Bellevue Building

Something sweet is coming to Bellevue. Cupcake Royale will open in the former IHOP building, at 21 Bellevue Way NE, at the end of September.

Cupcake Royale bakes cupcakes from scratch every day using mostly local and organic ingredients. The business has been thriving in Seattle for more than 7 years, boasting locations at Capitol Hill, Ballard, Madrona, and West Seattle.

Cupcake Royale’s 5th café will celebrate the history of the building by combining found décor, relics from the original IHOP, and custom pieces, such as a 30-person picnic table on the patio. The café also features an open kitchen and will serve Seattle’s Stumptown Coffee Roasters’ coffee.

Until the new café opens in Bellevue, the Mobile Cupcake Party-Cart is serving cupcakes – and offering thank you cards good for a free coffee at the café – in the parking lot of the former IHOP. The cart will later be available for birthdays, company parties, weddings, anniversaries and other events.

  6. The stumptown coffee is a huge bonus saw the sign on Monday and stopped to buy beans. Now if they have a barista that can do it justice we have a winner.
