Koi’s Seafood Restaurant is now open on the corner of 106th Ave. and 2nd St. Koi’s is a traditional Chinese restaurant, serving an array of seafood cuisine. Their menu offers uncommon items like jelly fish, shark’s fin, abalone and seacucumber. Dim Sum lunch is offered daily until 3 PM, and other items such as hot pot or congee are also regularly available.
Koi’s takes over the location where Seagarden, a Chinese restaurant as well, used to reside. It is open for lunch and diner, and orders may also be placed online. See below for daily hours.

They won’t be serving shark fins for long… The ban is due to take effect in October.
It should be good. From the same people that owns Joy Palace in the Rainier Valley.
I’m so confused – I thought that it was recently reported that a new development was going to break ground soon at the intersection. Is that going to be behind this? To the side?
Place is definitely good. Now there’s less of a need to goto the international district for dim sum. Price is reasonable as well. Only issue is the parking lot is tiny and cramped.
Could you guys clarify the part of “orders may also be placed online.?” Do you guys just mean that the menu is online and can be ordered via phone or that they have an online solution to ordering via their website? Thanks Lea!
@Ryan Their menu says that you can order online, but clearly their website does not have a place for this. Maybe this is something that they will have in the future?!
Didn’t try the dim sum… for dinner, very very average (unfortunately).
It almost taste bland. I hope they hire a better chef soon because the restaurant itself is nice, different from the dingy moldy ones in Chinatown.
I see some construction activity next to the restaurant. If I am reading this (http://www.ci.bellevue.wa.us/pdf/Development%20Services/lu_MajorProjects.pdf) right, this is the SOMA towers which are HUGE. Does that mean the restaurant will soon be shut down?? Time to try their dim sum once before they relocate.
Isn’t this place called Joi’s? Why did the name change?
It started off as Koi’s and later switched to Joi’s. It would be hilarious if it was a result of a typo when they placed the order to the sign company.
