Downtown Bellevue Rockefeller Project Details Announced

The Rockefeller Group plans to complete construction on a 20-story tower with 510,000 square feet of office space in downtown Bellevue according to documents that were recently filed with the City of Bellevue.

The Rockefeller Group describes the first phase of the project, Rockefeller Bellevue Tower: a 300-foot tall building, with low-reflective glazing and metal panels, located at 10605 N.E. 8th Street. The base of the building will feature 10,500 square feet of retail.

Early in 2013, Rockefeller and Bellevue’s Sterling Realty Organization, which owns the site, agreed to develop about 2.4 million square feet of commercial property on the 5-acre area.

The site is situated between Northeast Eighth Street and 106th Avenue Northeast and a pedestrian corridor along Northeast Sixth Street and the Key Center and Symetra office towers. The space is currently occupied by a Barnes & Noble, a Mars Hill Church, and some smaller commercial buildings on the north end of the property.

According to PSBJ the completion of the project is expected for mid-2017.
